The prostate is the organ responsible for storing the semen of men. This gland surrounds the upper part of the urethra, conduct where urine passes through. When this gland becomes inflamed it blocks the passage of urine that comes from the bladder causing the person to urinate in several squirts. The cause of this inflammation is due to the transformation of male hormones (testosterone) into D-Hydro-Testosterone that affects prostate tissue causing inflammation. This same phenomenon is the cause of baldness on the top (crown) of the head of males. It is recommended for good prostate health nourished with vitamins such as E and minerals like Zinc.
